A game of two halfs from a East Grinstead perspective. The first half we were the better side. Much the same against Lancing, unable to take our chances. Shane Goldsmith pulled off a couple of good saves. But still we should of been three or four nil up at half time. The second half started and we seemed unable to keep hold of the ball or find our players with passes. Credit to Three Bridges who uped the tempo. They levelled with a deflected shot, and scored in the last minute with a long corner which was headed in, right at the death. Came away feeling dissapointed. Anyway looking forward to Chichester City on Saturday.

First half we were a class above Bridges, movement and passing was good and time and again we got in behind the Bridges defence with Tom Lyons being denied by the Bridges goalkeeper on at least five occasions. We didn't score enough whilst on top though and Bridges made us pay.
Second half was in total contrast to the first, Bridges came at as and denied us any time on the ball and got more and more on top as Grinstead barely got out of their own half. Towards the end from back to front we couldn't keep the ball and simple passes were going astray. Lost in the 95th minute despite no injuries occurring during the half although credit to Bridges for the way they turned things around after being outplayed for the first 45.
Annoying that we keep losing by the odd goal to the so called better teams. If we played like we did for the first 45 minutes then we will win most games but we must still converting our chances or we will get punished.
I expect us to beat Chichester on Saturday.

Thought about you yesterday. Wondered what had happened to you. Will we see you in six months time?
