Final Score 1-1 First half, Grinstead were all over Peacehaven and were unlucky to go in 1-0 down due to a strange up and under goal. This in sweltering conditions. Second half , Peacehaven got their act together more and good defending from Kieran Wilson and a very good tip over at the end by Shayne Goldsmith prevented the home side adding to this. Grinstead were awarded a penalty with the ref seeing a fowl in the penalty Box, which then was converted into a goal nicely by Tom Lyons. A good away draw was enjoyed by all 6 of us away supporters !

Well done to the lads and the six supporters who made the long journey in the October sunshine.
Pity I couldn't be there due to family committments.

I was one of the Six at Peacehaven. In the first half i thought we were the better side. We had a goal from Death disallowed i think for offside. Lyons shot wide. In the second half we were unable to keep hold of the ball and too many passes went astray. Tony Reid was fouled in the penalty box so the ref awarded us a spot kick. Everyone was unsure what the referee had awarded. Shame about the Peacehaven player being stretchered off and being taken away in a ambulance. Not the best of games but a point at least.
