East Grinstead played well. A little unlucky to come not to come away with a point. We played very well in the second half. Three Bridges took the lead after 29 minutes. We equalized in the 44th minute Pelling bundled home a right wing cross. For large part of the second half we were on top. Watson hit the post. Three Bridges took the lead on 75 minutes and extended there lead on 83 minutes. A good game to watch end to end. A big crowd including good sized following from East Grinstead. Not much difference between the to teams. Fox Etherington Wilson Glasgow Sinclair Pelling Watson Gellatly Reid Hilder Chick. Subs Death Champion Dodds Lee Burns. Death for Gordon

We rode our luck early on and could have been 3 or 4 down before we got our equaliser.
Second half we were the better team with Ben Chick giving his marker a torrid afternoon. When Lee Carney went off injured I thought they were there for the taking but we let in a soft second which Fox should have kept out.
Chick was by far our best player and Gellatly and Pelling plus the returning John Sinclair all had good games, although Sincs was at fault for their opener.
Need more from our front two

Buzzer your summary is correct. We matched Three Bridges for large parts of the game. We no what Chick can do. To my mind one of the best players in the Sussex County league. Gellatly has been outstanding since returning to the side. Pelling is looking very assured. Sinclair did very well considering its his first game back for a while. I feel for the front two. Always going to be hard at places like Three Bridges. I thought Carney and Hooper were good for Three Bridges other than that they were nothing special.

MLS - we need a striker, a target man. We seem to play pretty football but no end result. Mediocre season so far, the FA Vase/FA Cup admin error was a shocker. Fans looking for football over the next few weeks likely to visit Albion, Down, Town or Lingfiled. We may lose a few if they like what they see. Reckon next season we need the top brass to spend some £ on the team to push for promotion?

The front two for me didn't look like scoring, although he is injured a lot of the time given a good run in the side Burnsy would score goals for fun!!
Reidy is a target man but needs a good foil to play with.
We now have the 2 best wingers in the league, Pelling has grown into one of the leagues best centre backs. Sincs back in action is a good thing and could work well in the middle with glattley. So long as he sits and doesnt push on. From what I have seen our 2 CMs are pushing onto much along with very attack minded. Leaves us wind open for the counter attack.
In terms of the top brass spending money, I think you will find it will take a number of years to build up the coppers again after becks over spent on luxury players.
No doubt Si will bring in a mix of local lads and chaps from outside the area. The club needs some life put back into it. The crowds are small compared to 3-4 years ago.
