Surprised how quiet it is on the forum even though Simon and his team have put together a super run of five consecutive league wins.
Well done guys and all the travelling support will be behind you at Shoreham on Saturday to make it 6 on the trot.
We hadn't manged more than 4 wins on the trot since returning to Division One. Our record is 14 consecutive wins at the start of our Div 2 league winning 2007/08 season when we were the last team in the entire English football pyramid with maximum points.
Since Sam Schaaf joined the club, he has netted 5 goals in his three appearances and George Hillier has decided to leave and has joined TD Shipley. We wish him well.
Ben Burns and Noel Etherington have also left for pastures new and are both at Broadbridge Heath. We wish them good luck as well.
See some of you on Saturday.

Hi Wasp - nice to get a few wins on the spin. A harsh critic might say that whilst the team are playing better, we've also had a run against lower ranked teams in the league table. - who we really should be beating. Like last year there seems to be a bit of a chasm between the top 8 and the rest. Sam Schaaf has started well, he looks to be a real talent. Plenty of games left this season - and few cup distractions. Come on EG.

A six nil win at Shoreham makes it 6 straight league wins with 31 goals scored and 7 conceded (too many I know but 2 clean sheets in last 2 matches).
We move up to 10th, just two points behind Lancing who are in 8th spot and who we host on 8th December after entertaining Selsey and Sidley.
Perhaps you will come along and support the lads Woody?

Wasp - Just shows what an important factor confidence is in a team. Well done Si for turning things around.
