I saw somewhere that EG was on the list as having applied for Ryman league ground grading inspection. Is this more of a "lets see what we have to do and how much will it cost, its in our minds for 3 years time" or a sudden realisation that promotion is actually an outside possibilty this season? Last time i was at East Court the only thing I could really see that were missing were turnstiles, but I guess there are others.

I think your first assumption would be near the mark although you never know, football's a funny old game and all of that. If you don't buy a lottery ticket you have no chance of winning the prize.

It's great for the club to be in a position to be thinking about Ryman League football , in the past it used to be can we avoid releagation to Sussex 3.
Apparently one thing you do need is outside toilets
