This game is not all-ticket. Admission will be available on the gate. A couple of new faces in the squad - Joel Hughes (ex-Lingfield) and Mike McKenna (ex-Holmesdale but also played at much higher level). Both strikers. Welcome to the club lads. Hope to update during the game tomorrow if RT texts me. Come on the Wasps!

Chichester keeper complained at half time about the dog barking behind his goal at half time. Shame he never had the decency to tell me about it personally and especially as we had a good bit of banter throughout the 1st 45 minutes !

East Grinstead have worked hard over the years to improve the ground and playing staff. Crawley Down/ Lingfield follow our lead. In this area we are the main County League side. Crawley Down/Lingfield level is no higher than County League 3. The SCFL are at fault for allowing clubs like them at our level. They turn a blind eye to their own rules being implemented. That really galls me

I totally agree with you in relation to facilities and ground improvements.
I think we need to take our hats off to Crawley Down on the pitch this year who are going to win the league at a canter. If we had started the season with this side then it might have been us, we'll never know.
Lingfield are only kept going because if the efforts of literally a handful of people and I will not criticise them because I admire what they put in to their club. The fault lies squarely with the authorities who allow teams to compete without clearly having the required ground grading.
East Grinstead is a great club with a fantastic set up for this level of football. The work you've done over the years is clear for all to see. In the near future I believe it'll have been worth it with ground grading beco Ing a real issue to those that don't comply.
I hope that we can match your achievements on the pitch and give you the football that you deserve.
Carlos69, thank you very much for your comments and please come again. It doesn't always work but we do try and play, probably over playing at times but there you go.
