We welcomed table toppers East Preston to East Court. East Preston kept hold of the ball and passed well. Cane had our first chance after 19 minutes when a tame short was saved. Our keeper making his debut Eacott pulled off a fine save. East Preston took the lead after 61 minutes when Simmonds scored. We were unable to get behind there defense. Also the East Preston mangement team questioned every decision. That lead to some amusement. We lacked a little bit going forward E G Town Eacott,Hampson,Wilson,Belli,Miles Nevill,Johnstone,Gellatly(c),Hillier,Cane,Mathias E G Town Subs Etherington,Major,Burns,White,Casterchino Subs Major for Cane,White for Mathias

It was nice to see everyone respect the minutes silence for Ken Thurgood. A nice man and well liked.

Been a bit quiet on here lately. Haven't managed to make the last few games as doing deliveries up in the midlands. We've had some tough cup draws this year that's for sure. Got some easier league games coming so chance to get back into top half.
Regards
