Big game tomorrow against local rivals Crawley Down if the rain stays away.
Winners will play either Horsham or Burgess Hill in the semi-final with the added attraction of the final being played at Brighton's new stadium the AMEX in the summer.
Be interesting to see who plays in the middle of the park tomorrow with Lee Carey cup tied and JP Collier still to serve two more games of his suspension.

Good luck to Becks and the boys tonight. Would be great to turn them over, especially at their place. I'm sure the lads will be well "up for it."

Do we know whether there is any doubt about the match going ahead tonight please? Look at our official website! "Barring any unforseen downpours, both tonight's First Team's Senior Cup tie at Crawley Down and the Reserves Suburban League match at home against Horley Town are on. Kick off for both matches is 7:30pm."

Unfortunately we came up a bit short last night and the game highlighted the difference between top and nearly top. Crawley Down gave us nothing and I can count the mistakes they made on one hand. We battled very hard and did our best on the night but it was our lack of any real goal threat that stood out for me. Good luck to them, they look like a side that aren't going to get beat many times but will the fixture pile up ultimately be their downfall?
For us the game just confirmed what we already know and I really don't believe that we're that far away. When you consider that JP (suspended), Lee Carey, Luke Denton and Peter Cooper (all cup-tied) are all to come into the side then I think there's plenty of reason for optimism.
Let's try and finish the season strongly then look to learn and progress going into next year.

Totally agree Becks.
On a different note, good to see Tides at the match last night. The missus sends her love.

Putting aside local rivalries i hope you can have a strong finish to the season, as we all know you have a smashing ground with a great elevated view from the stand, we ourselves have a lot still to do thats providing we can keep the form going on both league and cup fronts. As to the game Tuesday we ourselves suffered from Cup tied players as well, alright on the night we were stronger alround, but the match as a whole was spoilt by the 'orrible conditions underfoot which put any 'pretty play' consigned to the bin, but unfortunately one has to live with that at mo. PS. Can you give Rye a right 'tonking' Saturday!

Nice to see you on our forum Mike, the more the merrier I'd say.
Fair enough if you had cup tied players as well, it sounds like it was even stevens on that score then. The pitch was poor but it was the same for both teams and you played it better than we did.
I think that the 2 league games between us will be very competitive and you can rest assured that we will betrying to win every game between now and the end of the season including Saturday against Rye.
